Zampa [collection] = Die Marmorbraut = La fiancée de marbe = The marble bride : comic opera in three acts / libretto by Mélesville ; music by F. Hérold. 1830-1910.

Arranged in seven groups: I. Vocal scores (19). II Vocal scores-Selections (1). III. Vocal parts (3). IV. Chorus parts (4). V. Librettos (1). VI. Promptbooks (ms., 3 in 5 vols.). VII. Dialogue parts (15). A multilingual collection for Hérold's "Zampa," first performed in 1831. The vocal scores represent editions by Boosey (London, 187-?), B. Schott's Söhnen (Mainz, 183-?), Philip Reclam, jun. (Leipzig, 18--?), C.F. Peters (Leipzig, 1890-1910?), and a manuscript version which includes several numbers published by A. Fiot (Philadelphia, 1841), O. Ditson (Boston, 1841), and J.E. Gould (Philadelphia, 1841) bound in. The collection of excerpts from Zampa is a bound volume consisting of several separate songs and duets also published by A. Fiot (Philadelphia, 1841). The vocal and chorus parts are manuscript with German text; the sets are incomplete with parts extant only for Dandolo, Ritta, and Daniel, Soprano 1 & 2, and Tenor 1 & 2. The libretto, published by B. Schott's Söhnen (Mainz, 1832), bears the stamp "Theater-Direction E.F. Witt zu Kiel" on the cover. Two of the manuscript promptbooks are in German, one of which identifies W. Kreitz and C. Anschütz as owners; the third, in three vols. and in English, identifies Seguin on the covers and may be in his hand. The handwritten dialogue parts are in German. All manuscript materials are undated and are annotated.
